Teer makes the word Teerath which means verge or border, hence Teerth Yatra is a journey that is aimed at bordering the seeker from the worldly desires and uniting with God. Pujya Swami ji lays great importance on Teerth Yatra as they not only enable one to get in touch with the religious traditions but also aid in purity of thought.
Swami ji has led many such journeys with His disciples and other seekers to places of religious importance. Some notable journeys include pilgrimage to the Northern Himalayas for visits to the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples. Swami ji has also undertaken a journey to Amarnath to witness the divine snow Shivling of Lord Shiva. He is very fond of Maa Vaishno Devi and often visits the temple for Aarti. Among all the teerths Swami ji is particularly enchanted by the birth places and early life of the Lord. Hence, He visits the holy lands of Mathura-Vrindavan and Ayodhya very frequently. In all his sojourns, Swami ji is joined by various other Mahatmas and Sadhus in addition to His disciples.
