Hawan
Pujya Swami ji is a great believer in the ritual of Havan and its auspiciousness. Thus, He performs regular Havans on various occasions of prosperity and happiness. As a general practice, Pujya Swami ji prefers to initiate any auspicious activity (e.g. house or office inauguration) with a Havan. Swami ji has also conducted many havans for world peace and tolerance. At Swami ji’s abode Ananda, the ritual of Havan is a monthly practice that is followed without fail.
Havan refers to a ritual in Hinduism where oblation and other religious offerings are made into a fire. The ritual is considered to be a purification exercise of the soul as well the physical place where it is conducted as the fire is the destroyer of all vices and negative elements. Anciently, it was considered as a symmetric exchange where the humans would make an offering to God through the medium of fire and then expect Him to grant their wish reciprocate by providing them strength, prosperity, and peace.
